Kate Guest was the celebrant at my Father’s recent funeral. My mother had met her when she gave a talk about the role of a celebrant at one of her groups. My mother invited her to talk through the process at an initial visit (with another family member). Once it was decided she would officiate, Kate visited again to get all the background information to enable her to provide the Eulogy at my father’s cremation.

She also looked after the order of service document, in conjunction with the funeral directors. Throughout, Kate was easy to contact and dealt with all our queries and preferences with patience and understanding. After several drafts, the eulogy and the order of service was agreed. On the day, Kate was a calm and dignified presence and delivered the eulogy in a clear and empathetic way.
