Weddings, Namings, Farewells… and New Beginnings
Life gives us many reasons to gather — to love, to remember, to laugh, and sometimes to start again.
As a celebrant, I’ll be offering a full range of ceremonies, including:
- Weddings – modern, relaxed, joy-filled ceremonies that truly reflect you.
- Naming ceremonies – heartfelt welcomes for little ones or even new beginnings for adults stepping into a fresh chapter.
- Funerals & Celebration of Life services – warm, meaningful tributes that honour a person’s life story with dignity, love, and, where appropriate, a gentle smile.
- Handfasting ceremonies – a beautiful Celtic tradition symbolising two lives being gently joined together.
- Divorce ceremonies / Fresh starts – for those wanting to mark closure and transition with strength and self-compassion.
- LGBTQ+ – inclusive ceremonies for everyone’s needs.
- Any other life transitions you’d like to honour – retirement, house blessings, coming-of-age moments… if it matters to you, it matters to me.
- Themed & quirky ceremonies – for the Quirky, the Creative, and the Courageous. I’ll be offering unique and themed ceremonies for those who want something a little different.
Perhaps a fairy-tale wedding, a woodland ritual, or a touch of humour woven through a vow renewal. My favourite ceremony that I’ve attended was a wedding where the bride and groom arrived dressed as pirates, the guests were the crew, and the cake was a treasure map. It was joyful, funny, and absolutely them. - Pet ceremonies – marking the loss of a beloved pet or a tribute to an animal companion.
